SINGLE REVIEW // ‘A Motion Picture’ – Tom Vs Tom

WORDS BY TARA CAMPBELL

A killer new release from Sydney’s up-and-coming Tom Vs Tom, ‘A Motion Picture’ is a groovy little track that’s a definite add to your playlist. Influenced by Kid Cudi, Tyler, The Creator, Still Wooze and Tears for Fears, Tom vs Tom (Tomas Somera II) has taken the best parts of what he loves and created a funky track.

A Motion Picture is a stand-out in the new releases- a feel good, easy listening track that highlights what I personally love most about indie music. A catchy hook. Excellent production. An instrumental that makes you feel like you’re reliving the best moments of your life, and most importantly- incredible vocals from Tomas Somera II.

I’ve definitely got this track on repeat, and there is absolutely no doubt that the future for Tom Vs Tom has a lot more in store. I highly recommend checking out A Motion Picture as I’m certain you won’t be disappointed. We’re looking at an artist here that has a lot more in store, and I can’t wait to check it out.
