A set that was full of energy, really well performed songs, enjoyably awkward banter between the members, and easily one of the best shows I’ve been to in a while.

There’s a lot of trial and error, back and forth, and about 20 versions of the song before we got to the final version that we stuck with, whether it was the intertwining melodies that were too distracting or having to remove one or two things. EP REVIEW // ‘Anywhere’ – Hey Jan
‘Hey Jan’ is a fresh and local band to the Newcastle music scene; supplying a new sound with the release of their promising EP. The four-piece act takes you on a beautiful, mellow journey, taking your attention away from everything other than their music.

With a unique switch in style for the band, strong writing and great instrumentals, it’s one that fans of Kingswood definitely shouldn’t miss.
