Sydney’s BOYSCLUB have been announced as one of five winners of triple j unearthed’s Collab Comp, and will be writing a song alongside PNAU and Empire of the Sun songwriter/frontman Nick Littlemore.

There’s a lot of trial and error, back and forth, and about 20 versions of the song before we got to the final version that we stuck with, whether it was the intertwining melodies that were too distracting or having to remove one or two things. It’s the trial and error that makes the process an arduous journey, but in the end a rewarding one.
Some tracks you just fall in love with immediately, and it’s evident that How Am I The Same is one of these.
MAY-A’s light and breezy approach to storytelling can be felt even through the bold chorus of this track. She brings a relatability to her lyrics whilst exploring her talents as an artist through a sound that feels real and raw.
‘Wave Breaks’ is the perfect mix of orchestral sounds, with emotional guitar and beautiful lyrics. Some people just hit the right chords and notes to create the perfect song- Array have gone above and beyond to make this happen.
